What happens if the scope changes during the sprint?
The scope is defined and agreed upon before starting. If new needs arise during the sprint, we document them for a subsequent sprint. Small adjustments are normal, but significant changes require renegotiation. This protects both parties and guarantees results.
How much time do I need to dedicate as a client?
We expect a dedication of 3-5 hours per week: participating in standups (15 min/day), weekly demos (1h/week), and being available to answer questions. Your involvement is key to the sprint's success.
What technologies do you use?
We primarily work with React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, and SQL/NoSQL databases. We also have experience with WordPress, Shopify, and other platforms. If you have specific technology requirements, we discuss them in the discovery phase.
Can I hire a sprint to improve something that already exists?
Absolutely. Many of our sprints are for improving or optimizing existing products. The Web Audit Sprint and Conversion Sprint are specifically designed for this.
What guarantee do you offer on results?
We guarantee delivery of the agreed deliverables with the committed quality. For conversion or optimization sprints, we set target metrics but cannot guarantee specific results as they depend on multiple external factors.
How is payment handled?
Normally 50% at the start of the sprint and 50% at delivery. For longer sprints, we can establish intermediate payment milestones. We invoice with VAT if applicable.
Can we do the sprint remotely?
Yes, most of our sprints are 100% remote. We use tools like Slack, Notion, Figma, and video calls. If you're in Oxford, we can combine in-person sessions.
What's the difference between a sprint and a traditional project?
A sprint has fixed scope, fixed time, and fixed price. A traditional project usually has variable scope and hourly pricing. Sprints are ideal when you know what you want to achieve; traditional projects when you need flexibility to explore.
